The study of mycolytic properties of aerobic spore-forming bacteria producing extracellular chitinases

摘要: The mycolytic activity of 27 strains antagonistic bacilli belonging to two taxonomic groups (18 Bacillus subtilis and 9 Paenibacillus ehimensis) capable induced synthesis chitinolytic enzymes was studied. Most the B. neither displayed visible effects on phytopathogenic fungus Bipolaris sorokiniana in vitro, nor produced chitinases presence an autoclaved mycelium. On contrary, P. ehimensis grown under conditions favorable for induction other hydrolases exhibited a pronounced lytic effect actively grew by utilizing mycelium as sole source carbon nitrogen. Comparison activities extracellular studied demonstrated low correlation between chitinase production ability degrade cell walls sorokiniana. Characterization enzyme profiles revealed that β-1,3-glucanase more significant factor than determining potential bacteria their utilize fungi growth substrate.
