摘要: A comparative study of two plasma sources (floating-electrode dielectric barrier discharge, DBD, Drexel University; atmospheric pressure argon jet, kINPen, INP Greifswald) on cancer cell toxicity was performed. Cell culture protocols, cytotoxicity assays, and procedures for assessment hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) were standardized between both labs. The inhibitory concentration 50 (IC50) its corresponding H2O2 deposition determined devices. For the IC50 generation largely dependent total energy input but not pulsing frequency, treatment time, or number cells. DBD could be replicated by addition alone inhibited larger amounts liquid present during treatment. Jet depended as well amount liquid. Thus, in vitro is key attenuating short-lived species other physical effects from plasmas. These results suggest a role liquids tissues clinical setting. Additionally, we provide platform correlation different predefined cellular response.
