摘要: A device for irradiating human vessel interior walls including a perfusion balloon catheter having radioactive tube affixed therein. Preferably, the is helical, adjacent helical strand windings closely spaced in contact upon inflation to minimize trapped blood and reduce attenuation. The can be made by inclusion of metal coil wall. In use, advanced over guide wire stenosis, inflated dilate site, with beta radiation from passing through walls, relatively unhindered blood.
