摘要: Oxidized lipoproteins have been identified in atherosclerotic plaques and early lesions humans as well animals. There is accumulating evidence that such oxidized an important role atherosclerosis. Treatment of endothelial cells with altered stimulates monocyte binding the production chemotactic factors for monocytes. Both these findings could be relevant to accumulation monocytes-macrophages arterial wall during stages lesion development. We now report treatment (EC) modified low-density obtained by mild iron oxidation or prolonged storage, results a rapid large induction expression granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), macrophage CSF (M-CSF) granulocyte (G-CSF). These growth affect differentiation, survival, proliferation, migration metabolism macrophages/granulocytes, G-CSF GM-CSF also proliferation EC. Because EC macrophages are development atherosclerosis, CSFs contribute disease.
