摘要: Background: Transitioning into society after release from incarceration presents real challenges for male offenders; in California, up to 60% return prison within 3 years release. The risk ongoing drug use and having sex with multiple partners is a significant challenge ex-offenders preparing enter the community. Objectives: aims are describe sexual behavior (sex partners) prior 6 12 months study enrollment using data obtained as part of randomized controlled trial. Methods: This planned secondary analysis trial designed effects intensive peer coaching nurse case management, coaching, brief counseling on hepatitis A B vaccination adherence compared usual care control treatment that also included counseling. Self-report subjects enrolled at one residential facility Los Angeles were captured three time points: baseline 6- 12-month follow-up. Results: Findings showed substantive reductions engaging data, but results did not differ by condition. At follow-up, increased remained less than levels. Discussion: Sustaining remains incarceration.
