摘要: Repression is one of the most haunting concepts in psychology. Something shocking happens, and mind pushes it into some inaccessible corner unconscious. Later, memory may emerge consciousness. foundation stones on which structure psychoanalysis rests. Recently there has been a rise reported memories childhood sexual abuse that were allegedly repressed for many years. With recent changes legislation, people with recently unearthed are suing alleged perpetrators events happened 20, 30, even 40 or more years earlier. These new developments give to number questions: (a) How common child be repressed? (b) jurors judges likely react these claims? (c) When surface, what they like? (d) authentic memories?
