摘要: Contamination from agricultural sources and, in particular, nitrate pollution, is one of the main concerns groundwater management. However, this type pollution entails entrance other substances into aquifer, as well it may promote processes. In study, we deal with hydrochemical and isotopic analysis samples four distinct zones Catalonia (NE Spain), which include 5 different aquifer types, to investigate influence fertilization on overall composition groundwater. Results indicate that intense fertilizer application, causing high aquifers, also homogenize contents major dissolved ions (i.e.; Cl(-), SO4(2-), Ca(2+), Na(+), K(+), Mg(2+)). Thus, when igneous sedimentary aquifers compared, significant differences are observed under natural conditions for Na(+) Ca(2+) (with p-values ranging <0.001 0.038), concentrations occur, these reduced (most ranged between 0.054 0.978). Moreover, positive linear relationships some found indicating magnitude impact hydrochemistry R(2) values 0.490, 0.609 0.470, respectively). Nevertheless, increasing concentration specific not only attributed but their enhancing effect upon biogeochemical processes control water-rock interactions.
