摘要: Abstract PURPOSE: Although the annual consumption of bottled water in North America is 12.7 gallons per capita, little known about potential health effects these waters. We reviewed amounts major minerals found commercially available waters, recommended daily allowances for minerals, and their beneficial harmful effects. METHODS: obtained mineral content various waters Europe from The Pocket Guide to Bottled Water. then conducted a Medline search identify articles examining magnesium, sodium, calcium. RESULTS: Great variation exists Among that we reviewed, magnesium ranges 0 126 mg liter, sodium 1,200 calcium 546 liter. Epidemiologic clinical studies suggest may reduce frequency sudden death, contributes occurrence hypertension, help prevent osteoporosis. CONCLUSION: ideal should be rich have low content. Because there great actual considered when selecting one consumption.
