摘要: Strawberries can augment plasma antioxidant activity, but this may be confounded by selection of methods, time blood sampling and concomitant dietary restrictions. We examined the effect strawberry consumption on ferric reducing ability (FRAP) 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity (DPPH-test) native non-urate in healthy subjects their usual diet. Eleven consumed strawberries (500 g daily) for 9 days. Fasting 3-h postprandial 24-h urine collection were obtained before, during after course FRAP, DPPH-test polyphenols determination. Fifteen served as a control respect to changes 300 mg oral ascorbate. First, 5th 9th dose increased 17.4, 17.6 12.6%, FRAP 15.5, 25.6 21.4% comparison fasting values (p<0.05). In only trend was observed higher both tests. urinary urolithin A 4-hydroxyhippuric acid whereas stable. No noted controls ascorbate intake. transiently cannot attributed direct
