摘要: Highly polymorphic AFLP markers were applied to analyse the phylogenetic relationships of seven species from three sections within genus Araucaria (Araucariaceae) with cladistic and phenetic approaches. The objectives study compare intrageneric assessed by classification according chloroplast DNA sequences morphological characters. AMOVA revealed 48% variation among species. results principal coordinate analysis distinct groups: (1) A. angustifolia araucana (= section Araucaria), (2) bidwillii Bunya) (3) cunninghamii, heterophylla, rulei scopulorum Eutacta). In analyses, trees subdivided into two sister clades, one comprising samples Eutacta, other was divided again clades corresponding Bunya. These are congruent a previous family Araucariaceae based on rbcL Both sequence data analyses do not support Bunya as oldest Araucaria, suggested fossil record. utility for is discussed.
