Octadecanoic acid/silica particles synthesis for enzyme immobilization: Characterization and evaluation of biocatalytic activity

摘要: Water insoluble enzyme particles (WIEP) were prepared by first anchoring the octadecanoic acid over porous silica (OAS) followed diastase binding. These characterized using FT-IR, X-ray crystallography and photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) evaluated for starch hydrolysis activity. The results indicated that binding to OAS was dependent on pH temperature of medium. Maximum (>48%) observed at 3 30 °C, while highest biocatalytic activity WIEP 4 40 °C. storage stability study water more than 70 days without any loss.
