摘要: Abstract Effect of the initial grain size on plastic deformation behavior and refinement mechanism has been investigated in Ti–2Al–2.5Zr alloy subjected to multi-impact process. The results show that is dominated by dislocation slip fine-grained sample. In contrast, twinning becomes prevalent coarse-grained one, contributes means twin subdivision fragmentation. Dynamic recrystallization (DRX) takes place both samples. But, it delayed one due relative low fraction boundaries energy dissipation twinning. Nevertheless, final refined area does not an obviously difference between two samples at a large strain, i.e., 1.61. Moreover, inhomogeneous heterogeneity sample much stronger than one. It was ascribed superimposed effect subsequent A criterion for achieving optimum finally suggested.
