ChromoUpdate: Fast Design Iteration of Photochromic Color Textures Using Grayscale Previews and Local Color Updates

摘要: ChromoUpdate is a texture transfer system for fast design iteration. For the early stages of design, provides grayscale preview that enables to be transferred in under one minute. Once designers are satisfied with texture, supports coloring by transitioning individual pixels directly desired target color. Finally, if need make change color already transferred, can quickly transition from new accomplishes this (1) using UV projector rather than LED, which saturated individually resetting entire black, and (2) providing two algorithms allow previews color-to-color transitions. Our evaluation shows significant increase speed both (89%) updates (11%).
