摘要: The cross section for electron transfer between a proton and hydrogen atom has been measured in the energy range 2 to 117 keV. apparatus employs heated target chamber which gas is 79% dissociated. total density of H atoms collision chamber, including both free combined into ${\mathrm{H}}_{2}$ molecules, determined by differential-Coulomb-scattering measurement, while molecules double-electron-capture measurement. Experimental values at 19 different energies varied monotonically from 13.3\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${10}^{\ensuremath{-}16}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$ 1.92 keV 0.064\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${10}^{\ensuremath{-}16}$ 117.5 results, believed be accurate \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}5%, are not completely consistent with previous other investigators. Theoretical calculations McCarroll McElroy agree satisfactorily measurements lower than 60 keV, but no theoretical calculation satisfactory agreement measurements.
