摘要: PURPOSE OF THE STUDY The aim of this study was to present the results treatment deep chondral defects patella by transplantation a solid graft formed autologous cultured chondrocytes. MATERIAL AND METHODS Indications for chondrocyte implantation most frequently included acute trauma knee, particularly patella, which resulted in severe focal cartilage defect. lesions were assessed on basis Bessette and Hunter classification preoperatively, Outerbridge during arthroscopy. A sample healthy harvested from non-weight-bearing area trochlea femoris. After cultivation chondrocytes 28 42 days tissue bank, graft, prepared with use fibrin glue (Tissucol), ready implantation. RESULTS Six patients, two males four females (average age, 21.1 years; range, 13 39 years) treated method period July 2003 October 2005. Follow-up ranged 1 25 months, an average 18.5 months. patients examined postoperatively magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at 2 weeks, 6 year. clinical evaluated Meyers, Tegner Lysholm knee scoring systems. Two six whom follow-up shorter than not evaluation. CONCLUSIONS significant improvement function recorded when preoperative final stages compared, as well comparison contralateral joint. MRI examination showed good incorporation all patients.
