Effect of a Nutritional Intervention in Athlete's Body Composition, Eating Behaviour and Nutritional Knowledge: A Comparison between Adults and Adolescents.

摘要: The objective of the present study is to evaluate and compare effect a nutritional intervention between adolescent adult. In before after quasi-experimental clinical study, 32 athletes (21 adults, age range 20–32 years; 11 adolescents, range: 12–19 years) participated in counselling consisting four consultations separated by an interval 45 60 days. athlete’s eating behaviour, body composition nutrition knowledge were evaluated at beginning end protocol. Both groups increased lean mass knowledge. Adolescents their mid-arm muscle circumference improved meal frequency, daily water intake. Athletes both ingestion vegetables fruits decreased sweets oils. showed higher prevalence individuals that remained within or approached recommendations sweets. This first adult composition, behaviour has been effective promoting beneficial changes on however, some healthy only experienced especially frequency meals intake
