摘要: Background Acute exacerbation during pregnancy is the most important risk factor for an unfavorable outcome of in women with asthma. Objective We sought to identify pregnancy-related factors acute exacerbations asthma pregnancy. Methods Since 2007, all pregnant referred give birth at Hvidovre Hospital, Denmark, have been offered participation prospective Management Asthma Pregnancy (MAP) program. Women were included present analysis if they fulfilled following criteria: (1) diagnosed asthma, (2) prescribed least rescue bronchodilator, and (3) had first visit respiratory outpatient clinic within 18 weeks Data analyzed using multiple logistic regression models backward stepwise elimination (Proc Logistic procedure SAS). Results Over 8-year study period, a total 1283 pregnancies 1208 criteria inclusion MAP cohort. exacerbation(s) larger gestational weight gain (GWG) trimester ( P Conclusions Excessive GWG risk increases dose-dependent manner increasing GWG.
