摘要: Before considering aversive conditioning of contact placing (CP), it is useful to review the circuitry subserving this behavior. Previous studies from our laboratory utilizing lesions, cold blocks, and recordings individual somatosensory motor control neurons led proposal that CP in adult cat dynamically subserved by at least two major thalamocortical projection systems, ventralis posterior sensorimotor cortex cerebellum lateralis anterior (Amassian et al., 1972a,b). More recently, rubral system was shown also contribute (Batson Amassian, 1986), contributing input deriving deep cerebellar nuclei Batson, 1983). In neonatal kitten, initially does not CP, but during second week, pyramidal tract (PT) begins tonically pattern subsequently emerging after 6–7 weeks Ross, 1978). The claim full hindlimb can be elicited spinal kitten (Forssberg 1974) has been refuted several laboratories 1977; Bradley 1983; Bregman Goldberger, 1982), lower brainstem being essential, especially vestibular complex 1977).
