摘要: Particle-based in-cylinder soot distribution study is becoming more important as the rules and regulations pertaining to particulate emission of diesel-powered vehicles have been increasingly stringent. This paper focuses on investigation size evolution its transport inside an engine cylinder. The overall process formation includes nucleation, surface growth, oxidation, coagulation agglomeration. present considers only oxidation predict particle size. growth model was based Hiroyasu’s while referred Nagle & Strickland-Constable’s model. Coagulation rate defined using Smoluchowski’s equation with constant proposed by Wersborg.
