摘要: Class-switch recombination (CSR) of immunoglobulin heavy chains is the genetic process by which a B cell switches from production IgM to IgG, IgE or IgA. Although general characteristics CSR have been known for some time, detailed molecular mechanism this only now emerging. unique, in that it seems involve transcription-generated, higher-order RNA–DNA structures, specific DNA deamination and several DNA-repair pathways. In review, we discuss our current knowledge highlight important unanswered questions.
