摘要: Studies have established that construction workers are more likely to be injured than in other industries. In the United States, sector has accounted for a thousand fatal injuries every year between 1995 and 2008. Although injury rates reduced substantially past decade, industry still accounts most on-the-job of any industry. Also, it been suggested observed reduction may attributed fiscal constraints resulted 17% decline number hours worked, rather improvement safety performance. A large portion occur because new lack ability predict, identify, respond hazardous conditions dynamic work environments. order improve workers’ situational awareness, employers often put through hazard recognition training programs. Unfortunately, there is no standard method recognition. an effort identify promising programs construction, research team (1) conducted focus group sessions with panel fifteen experts; (2) reviewed literature techniques. The results this study can used by practitioners strategically potential reception complement existing methods. Researchers build on further investigating strategies testing them active crews, measuring their effectiveness, determining cost-effective methods could potentially become standard.
