摘要: This paper presents a universal method, iterative combined approximation (iterative CA) approach, for structural static reanalysis of all types topological modifications. The proposed procedure is basically an approximate two-step method. First, the newly added degrees freedom (DOFs) are assumed to be linked original DOFs modified structure by means Guyan reduction so as obtain condensed equation. Second, displacements solved using CA approach. And resulting from modification can recovered. Four numerical examples given illustrate applications present results show that method effective modifications and it easy implement on computer. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
