摘要: Mark recapture models have long been used for estimating wildlife population parameters. Typically, the data are summarized in terms of parameters that interpreted context an implicit demographic model describing dynamics. Usually, this plays little or no role mark-recapture model. Bayesian hierarchical (BHM) offer a way to explicitly include analysis. We argue such approach should wide appeal ecologists as it allows inference focus on ecological interest rather than obtaining parsimonious depiction sampling process. discuss use BHM’s modeling with density-dependent growth.
