摘要: Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a malignancy representing in Europe the 3-5% of all malignant tumors. Metabolic pathway Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] influenced by various cytokines delivered during inflammatory and neoplastic diseases. Liver seems to be main site Lp(a) synthesis. Methods A group patients affected HCC was studied order evaluate changes serum levels their significance. Participants 40 (25 males 15 females) primary 25 control healthy subjects (12 13 females). In we evaluated following serological parameters: Lp(a), total cholesterol (TC), LDL-Cholesterol (LDL-C), HDL-Cholesterol (HDL-C), triglycerides (TG), albumin, (pseudo)cholinesterase (CHE), aspartate amino-transpeptidase (AST), alanine (ALT), gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (g-GT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), ferritin, alpha fetoprotein, partial thromboplastin time (PTT), Quick time, prothrombinic activity (PA) fibrinogen. Statistical analysis data obtained performed using variance (ANOVA method) Student's OtO for non-paired test. For Wilcoxon's non parametric test used. The correlations between examined parameters were Pearson's correlation Results with HCC, mean TC, LDL-C TG significantly lower than controls. HDL-C did not show statistically significant difference two groups studied. Furthermore, found positive between: CHE, CHE LDL-C; while negative has been alpha-fetoprotein, alpha-fetoprotein. Conclusions On basis relationship alfa fetoprotein ferritin levels, represent an indirect index liver damage. risk factor vascular diseases have interesting role functions. We conclude that evaluation may contribute, among other markers, more complete function suggesting predictive this lipoprotein.
