摘要: Exploitation and production of oil gas involve significant human, environmental economical risks. Everyday concerns - Should we drill further down? Maybe inject more water? Why is the well producing these amounts sand? rely on vast structured unstructured information accessible in different formats, applications platforms. This never perfect: there are missing/ unavailable information, inaccuracies errors, short, uncertainties tied to information. Our primary question is, how do engineers practice cope under conditions? We contribute by (i) identifying tactics for making credible trustworthy enough daily operations i.e. strategies transform “mere” into actionable as (ii) drawing out practical implications our analysis.
