摘要: Abstract Optimization of acid-catalyzed conversion conditions wheat straw into furfural, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), glucose, and xylose was studied by response surface methodology (RSM). A central composite design (CCD) used to determine the effects independent variables, including reaction temperature (140–200 °C), residence time (1–41 min), pH (0.1–2.1), liquid:solid ratio (15–195 mL/g) on furan sugar production. The analysis revealed that temperature, had a strong influence HMF, glucose yield, whereas liquid solid found not be significant. initial solution most important variable in furans. maximum predicted yields were 66%, 3.4%, 100%, 65%, respectively. This study demonstrated microwave-assisted process very effective method for production from diluted acid catalysis.
