摘要: Recent developments have shown microwave-induced plasma optical emission spectrometry (MIP-OES) to be compatible with direct solution introduction of aqueous samples. The present study was performed further determine the effects a complex sample matrix on instrumental response moderate-power argon MIP. This accomplished by examining intensities several metal ions, ranging in concentration from 10 ppb 100 ppm, both 2% HNO/sub 3/ and synthetic ocean water (S.W.). To illustrate effects, sensitivity linear dynamic range each were compared same parameters water. Furthermore, application this method analysis real samples, NBS SRM bovine liver tissues analyzed Ar MIP inductively coupled (ICP) for comparison. It is here that ranges obtained many metals matrices span 2 4 or more orders magnitude detection limits compare well those popular ICP. also an lead significant changes (enhancement suppression).more » Finally, it ICP agreement when used analyze SRMs.« less
