摘要: Tunnel ionization rates of triplet Rydberg states in helium with principal quantum numbers close to 37 have been measured electric fields at the classical threshold $\ensuremath{\sim}197$ V/cm. The measurements were performed time domain by combining high-resolution continuous-wave laser photoexcitation and pulsed field ionization. observed tunnel range from ${10}^{5}$ ${10}^{7}\phantom{\rule{4pt}{0ex}}{\mathrm{s}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ have, together atomic energy-level structure corresponding fields, compared results calculations eigenvalues Hamiltonian matrix describing atoms presence which complex absorbing potentials introduced. comparison these, additional for hydrogenlike using semiempirical methods, allowed accuracy these methods calculation be tested. For particular eigenstates studied are $\ensuremath{\sim}5$ times larger than those obtained expressions.
