Dosimetric Evaluation of Multislice CT Using AnthropomorphicHead Phantom

摘要: Purpose - The most general form to report dose in Multislice CT is the CTDI and DLP which are computed for several slices. goal of current study was estimate actual doses distribution during examinations a head neck anthropomorphic phantom. Methods After construction phantom using natural bone paraffin wax with NaCl as impurity, places were considered different sites fill badges Gafchromic film. These include brain, Parotid, Thyroid Lens eye. Phantom scanned at Angio Spiral protocols 10 256 slice scanners. Results Our findings showed that scanner, selected organ range 0.09-23.1 mSv while it 0.14-18.01 mSv. protocol has higher all. Conclusion In protocol, (except lens eye) lower compared CT; brain both no difference statistically. spiral scanner than might be due number detector arrays scanner.Thyroid mainly scattered radiation because strict beam collimation; small value all protocols.
