摘要: There are two loci for resistance to the antibiotic kasugamycin (Ksg) in Escherichia coli . Mutations at ksgA resulted 30 S ribosomal subunit Ksg. The map location of was near minute 0.5: 95% cotransducible with pdxA , and apparent gene order thr... ksgA... Studies stable ksgA/ksgA + merodiploids showed that sensitivity dominant over resistance. a second ( ksgB ), located between minutes 25 39, phenotypic Ksg R indistinguishable from mutations, but ribosomes strains were sensitive drug vitro. Spontaneous induced mutations usually (ribosomal) type.
