摘要: Abstract Variations of dry deposition velocity for SO 2 due to terrain-forced mesoscale circulations have been explored northeast Colorado and south Florida. A numerical model was used obtain the wind turbulence data needed calculate velocities. Computations were performed both with without consideration observed land use characteristics. The results indicate that while variations in often dominate velocity, can produce regions enhanced velocity. We recommend simultaneous measurements be made at multiple sites within a region order clarify influence on deposition.
