摘要: Obesity is the most prevalent nutritional disease and a growing public health problem worldwide. This causal component of metabolic syndrome related with abnormalities, including hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, hypertension, inflammation, among others. There are anti-obesity drugs, affecting fundamental processes weight regulation; however they have shown serious side effects, which outweigh their beneficial effects. Most recent studies on treatment obesity its complications focused potential role different plants preparation that can exert positive effect mechanisms involved in this pathology. For instance, effects green tea isolated active principles been reported both vitro (cell cultures) vivo (animal models) possess healthy decreasing adipose tissue through reduction adipocytes differentiation proliferation. A lipid profile, carbohydrates metabolisms were demonstrated as well. In addition, anti-inflammatory antioxidant activities studied. However, consumption products not common Western countries, where other similar bioactivity predominate; nevertheless, extension has analyzed depth, despite alternative for obesity. review action diverse such as: Camellia sinensis, Hibiscus sabdariffa, Hypericum perforatum, Persea americana, Phaseolus vulgaris, Capsicum annuum, Rosmarinus officinalis, Ilex paraguariensis, Citrus paradisi, limon, Punica granatum, Aloe vera, Taraxacum officinale Arachis hypogaea summarized. We consider these natural treatments some alterations associated
