摘要: Abstract The effect of air relative humidity (RH) on the potential two different Pt/air electrodes was examined. One electrode platinum in contact with a hydrophilic Nafion (Pt-Nafion/air), other plasticized polyvinyl chloride containing hydrophobic electrolyte (Pt-PVC/air). Over RH range, from 11 to 72%, Pt-Nafion/air decreases non-linearly increasing 880 710 mV versus Ag/AgCl electrode. decrease at steepest part dependence (for 30 70%) amounts about −4 mV/%RH. Pt-PVC/air increases linearly 324 337 mV electrode, slope 0.21 mV/%RH. change reference changing might influence properties sensors where current is measured or descending current–potential curve (e.g. an indicator exposed test gas without diffusion barrier).
