Rarity and threat relationships in the conservation planning of Iberian flora

摘要: We analysed the threatened flora of Iberia (including Balearic Islands) in order to define and explain factors related levels rarity threat. Conservation measures were derived from relationships observed. used a random sample 59 narrowly distributed plant species pool (588 species) potentially endangered flora. Twelve variables classify into groups based on multivariate technique: non-parametric principal component analysis. Our results do not indicate single management model driven by mechanism rarity. Four classes rare plants produced statistical algorithm: agamospermic species, associated with water, endemics, range-margin (geographical-limit) plants. Some specific strategies for each these are proposed, allowing further discussion assessment. The overall pattern conservation practice Iberian seems be defined three use: ecological specificity, geographical rate None biological show particularly strong trends data.
