摘要: [1] The centerless circular array (CCA) method, proposed by ourselves in an earlier work, is algorithm of microtremor exploration which can be used to estimate phase velocities Rayleigh waves analyzing vertical component records microtremors that are obtained with three or five seismic sensors placed around a circumference. We have confirmed, through field tests, the applicability our CCA method arrays on order several hundred meters radii and revealed its remarkably high performance long-wavelength ranges, upper resolution limit extending as far 10 times radius. also invented mathematical model enables evaluate signal-to-noise ratios given field. Scrutiny data has borne out hypothesis noise principal factor biases analysis results ranges longest resolvable wavelength determined ratio. Combined use new ratio provides powerful methodological tool allows one extract maximal information from simple array.
