摘要: Tumor cell metastasis through blood circulation is a complex process and one of the great challenges in cancer research as metastatic spread responsible for ∼90% cancer-related mortality. intravasation into, arrest adhesion at, extravasation from microvessel walls are critical steps spread. Understanding these may lead to new therapeutic concepts tumor metastasis. Vascular endothelium forming wall glycocalyx layer at its surface principal barriers regulators material exchange between circulating body tissues. The cleft adjacent endothelial cells pathway water solute transport health. Recently, this has been found be location extravasation. blood-flow-induced hydrodynamic factors such shear rates stresses, rate stress gradients, well vorticities, especially branches turns microvasculatures, also play important roles adhesion. This chapter therefore reports current advances vivo animal studies vitro culture demonstrate how integrity or microvascular permeability, factors, geometry, molecules, surrounding extracellular matrix affect microcirculation.
