摘要: In this short paper, we study the photometric precision of stellar light curves obtained by CoRoT satellite in its planet-finding channel, with a particular emphasis on time scales characteristic planetary transits. Together other articles same issue journal, it forms an attempt to provide building blocks for statistical interpretation planet and eclipsing binary catch date. After pre-processing so as minimise long-term variations outliers, measure scatter first three runs lasting more than 1 month, using iterative non-linear filter isolate signal interest. The behaviour noise 2 h is described well power-law index 0.25 R-magnitude, ranging from 0.1 mmag at R = 11. 5t o 1m mag atR 16, which close pre-launch specification, though still factor 2−3 above photon due residual jitter hot pixel events. There evidence slight degradation performance over time. We find clear enhanced variability hour (at level 0.5 mmag) stars identified likely giants their magnitude B − V colour, represent approximately 60 20% observed population directions Aquila Monoceros, respectively. On hand, median correlated levels dwarf are extremely low, reaching 0.05 bright end.
