Core matrix inversion techniques for SC/MMSE MIMO turbo equalization

摘要: Conditional minimum mean square error (CMMSE) estimation problems commonly appear in iterative (turbo) signal detectors that utilize soft feedback from soft-input soft-output (SISO) channel decoders. To solve CMMSE problems, covariance matrix inverse has to be calculated for the output vector of soft-cancellation interfering components, which requires a cubic order computational complexity row size equivalent space-time matrix. This paper first proposes computationally efficient method calculate strictly inversion CMMSE. It is shown proposed technique can implemented highly pipelined manner. also presents an approximated version algorithm further reduces matrix's without causing any significant loss performance. Results model-based and field measurement data-based simulations are presented.
