摘要: The fine structure of granulosa lutein cells from three crabeater seals, Lobodon carcinophagus, and two leopard Hydrurga leptonyx, has been studied early through mid-pregnancy. Analysis the arrangement modifications cytoplasmic organelles inclusions revealed types throughout corpus. Type I cell typically possesses a central nucleus cytoplasm containing very large amounts smooth and/or fenestrated endoplasmic cisternae which frequently extend juxta-nuclear to periphery cell. II contains or eccentric nucleus, moderate peripheral, often form concentric membranous whorls, numerous mitochondria small lipid droplets. Frequently these show polarity in inclusions. III predominant droplets, many mitochondria, cisternae. In light microscopy type is evenly granular, while highly vacuolated. have both granular vacuolated conditions. Ultrastructural features suggest that they probably secrete most steroids, whereas primary role appear be storage.
