摘要: In a digital video motion estimation compression and decompression system, pixel block-matching is accomplished by comparing pixels in target block regions of high gradients luminance or hue. A few from low-gradient are also preferably used. mask defining these locations the created, comparisons with other blocks based only on relative values associated locations. Major computational time savings negligible degradation image quality.
