摘要: MUCH attention has been paid to the process of formation mullite, a refractory mineral composition 3Al2O3.2SiO2, through decomposition Al–Si clay minerals and crystallization amorphous gels. In course my work on allophanes related minerals1, new tetragonal phase was encountered by heating co-precipitated Al2O3–SiO2 gels at temperature-range 910°–l,100° C.
