摘要: Abstract A simple and effective numerical procedure is described for computing the steady-state corona current distribution in electrostatic precipitator (ESP) configurations. Based on a finite difference scheme, it solves coupled system of Poisson equation space-charge drift formula complex bidimensional geometries, taking into account statistical size particulate corresponding charging processes. rigorous approach has been used drift, whose application not restricted by limitations commonly applied Deutsch approximation. This represents valuable design tool predicting comparing performance, terms electric field distributions, different configurations optimising their geometric parameters (wire cross-section, wire-wire wire-plate distances, shape collecting electrodes, etc.). Examples practical ESP geometries are reported.
