摘要: There is disclosed an absorbent food pad which absorbs exudate from products in a package and inhibits the propagation of food-borne pathogens. The contains effective amount antimicrobial composition one or more acids having structure: R--COOH where R selected group consisting lower alkyl; substituted carboxy carboxy, hydroxy halo dihydroxy alkyl, dicarboxy, alkenyl; dicarboxyl phenyl groups. In addition, may include anionic surfactant. More particularlly, comprises mixture citric acid, malic sodium lauryl sulfate rate ratio 10:5:2 by weight respectively. disbursed within medium at concentration between 0.04% 0.6% that designed to absorb.
