摘要: van Gijn and co-workers identified „Perimesencephalic haemorrhage“ (PM) as distinct, benign, non-aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage. However, there is only one retrospective series of this entity outside the Netherlands. to confirm (or not) benign nature perimesencephalic haemorrhage by evaluating its clinical course long-term follow-up in a consecutive patients admitted University Hospital. Patients with negative cerebral angiography between January 1985 April 1992 were classified according distribution blood on CT scan performed within 72 hours after onset, non-perimesencephalic haemorrhages. Demographic data (collected consecutively), complications (obtained chart review mail) compared two groups. Seventy cases, 36 35 nonperimesencephalic included. Sex age similar A normal examination admission was rule group. Only patient had complication — transient neurological signs during no deaths or morbidity follow-up. In group three rebleed, four developed hydrocephalus delayed ischaemia. Mean duration 27,6 months for 30,8 After discharge fatal rebleed latter Fifteen percent subjects (11% 20% group) retired from work period. Headaches depression found percentages (22–25%) both This study confirms that perimesencepahlic distinct larger angiograms, good short term prognosis, need repeated angiographic investigation.
