摘要: Abstract The differentiation of the various castes primitive termites like Kalotermes and Zootermopsis is dependent on JH-titer during molting interval larvae nymphs. A hypothesis suggested according to which only two pheromones control caste differentiation: pheromone given off by reproductives may be JH, while a JH-inhibitor or corpora allata inhibitor produced soldiers.
