摘要: We report on the effects phase behavior, microstructure, and rheology in water-rich part of ternary nonionic surfactant system comprising pentaethylene glycol dodecyl ether (C 12 E 5 )-water-decane, addition poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) hydrophobically end-capped PEO (HM-PEO). The two polymers destabilize both micellar lamellar phases. With PEO, a segregative separation is observed, while with HM-PEO, an associative seen. containing HM-PEO was investigated by NMR relaxation self-diffusion measurements small-angle neutron scattering as well low shear viscosity oscillatory frequency sweep measurements. It found that polymer affected intermicellar interaction, leading to increased ordering micelles, leaving size unchanged. Addition (<2 wt %) led drastic decrease coefficient additionally increase several orders magnitude. storage loss moduli were successfully fitted single Maxwell element. Analysis parameters comparison percolation theory yielded fraction interconnected micelles (thus forming bridges) did not contribute connectivity network (resulting loops).
