Study on failure depth of coal seam floor in deep mining

摘要: The year-after-year deepening of North China-type coal mines has resulted in frequent water inrush disasters at seam floors, causing significant casualties and property loss. key factor for assessing hazards is the depth which floor will fail. It therefore great importance to predict this failure so as evaluate potential incidents establish effective controls a timely manner. This paper takes deep-mining mine China Coalfield, an example, comparative study made using four methods: theoretical calculation method, back propagation neural network (BPNN) field measurement empirical formula method. results show that new method proposed are closer true under deep mining conditions. Therefore, played important reference role prevention control from mining.
