摘要: A flow of hot gases, e.g. in a mixing tube jet engine or cylinder an internal-combustion engine, is kept out contact with confining surface by electron-emissive coating on that held at negative potential, the work function being lowered heat gases and/or other heating means. The system can be used to minimize frictional resistance between gas and wall, block leakage its piston.
