摘要: We have studied the entrance channel effects in decay of Compound nucleus 240 Cf * formed 34 S+ 206 Pb and 36 204 reactions by using energy density dependent nuclear proximity potential framework dynamical cluster-decay model (DCM). At different excitation energies, fragmentation preformation probability decaying fragments are almost identical for both channels, which seem to suggest that is independent its formation energy. It also observed that, with inclusion deformation upto quadrupole within optimum orientation approach, path governing surfaces gets modified significantly. Beside this, fission mass distribution Cf* isotopes investigated. The calculated cross-sections SIII force channels find nice agreement available experimental data deformed choice fragments, except at higher energies. In addition comparative analysis Blocki based attraction worked out. accounts well CN all energies whereas use EDF suggests presence some non-compound process (such as quasi-fission (qf))
