摘要: The demand for protection against biological and chemical warfare agents has increased the need unique protective materials. N-halamines are superior candidates this task by having rapid inactivation rates a broad range of microorganisms ability to oxidize some pesticides reduce their toxicity humans. Thus, design N-halamine materials fibrous structure, high halogen loading capacity with enhanced stability, being relatively inexpensive is very important. This study investigated effect acid treatment on chlorine stability commercial flame retardant melamine formaldehyde (MF) fiber introduce biocidal detoxifying properties. fibers formed into web were treated diluted sulfuric (H2SO4) under various conditions. webs chlorinated household bleach, bound was investigated. fabrics have been tested Gram-negative bacterium stimulant. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
